Meet Our President
Jim Browning is a respected veteran of the insurance industry, who has served his profession and his community for more than 40 years. He is a native of St. Augustine and a University of Florida graduate, and he is actively involved in a number of local, regional and industry-related organizations.
Jim is an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and a recognized leader in the insurance industry, regularly participating in conferences and seminars throughout the country. He has sat on the National Risk Management Committee for the American Rental Association, is a former chairman of the St. John’s County Economic Development Council, Committee of 100, Blood Center of the St. Johns, Epic Community Services, and St. Johns County Industrial Development Authority. He has served on many industry producer councils, and is currently a member of the Ponte Vedra Rotary Club. He has also served as an expert witness for the US Department of Justice in flood insurance matters.
Jim is always looking to the future for new risk management techniques and policy coverage. Through his leadership and expertise, The Browning Agency continues to help Florida businesses and individuals protect the things that matter most.
